We are the living proof of former Michelin chef Rasmus Oubæk’s vision, based on his love for food. At Jagger, we are food lovers and nerdS, and therefore it makes a great difference to us how we grind our meat to ACHIEVE the perfect MEAT FABRIC OF the beef; that our shakes are made from ingredients like fresh strawberries and our homemade Belgian chocolate sauce, and that we are constantly “nerding” wiTH Adjustments to improve our SELECTION OF food and drinks.

We serve burgers as Rasmus prefers them - with our special Jagger sauce, great tasty free range beef or our own veggie-patty, JUST THE RIGHT PINTCH OF salt, and a soft BRIOCHE bun with a “short bite”. THE KEY INGREDIENTS USED IN ALL OUR BURGERS AND SIDES ARE CAREFULLY SELECTED IN ACCORDANCE TO OUR FOCUS ON GREAT TASTE, BETTER INGREDIENTS AND A CRAFTY NO-NON-SENSE ATTITUDE. ALL OUR JAGGER DIPS ARE MADE FROM OUR OWN SPECIAL RECIPES, AND THE SAME APPLIES TO OUR BEARNAISE DIP WHICH is MADE FRESH FROM THE GROUND UP EVERY DAY. THE JAGGER BARBECUE SAUCE, hot dog RELISH AND our VEGgie pATTIES ARE ALSO PART OF OUR OWN PRODUCE AND MADE SPECIALLY AT OUR FOOD PREP & PRODUCTION FACILITY IN SØNDERBORG.
ALL VARIANTS OF OUR SHAKES ARE FRESHLY MIXED AND PRODUCED by oUR JAGGER TEAM EVERY SINGLE DAY, AND THE VARIETY CHANGES ON A REGULAR BASIS. HOWEVER, SOME OF OUR MOST BELOVED SHAKES STAY ON AND IS CONCURRENTLY PART OF OUR MENU.
FREE-RANGE GRASS-FED DANISH CATTLE ONLY
our BEEF IS FROM a SPECIALLY-SELECTED SUpPLIER — NORDJYSK NATURKØD. THEY PROVIDE US WITH HIGH-QUALITY BEEF THAT ARE GRASS-FED AT LEAST 120 DAYS A YEAR. this MEANS THEY GET PLENTY OF EXERCISE AND HAVE HAD A LIFE OF FREEDOM AND MOBILITY. THE RESULT IS MUCH JUICIER AND TASTY BEEF, AND AS A BONUS THE CATTLE CONTRIBUTE TO PRESERVING AND PROTECTING THE NATURAL LANDSCAPES IN NORTHERN JUTLAND, WHICH WOULD OTHERWISE BE AT RISK OF OVERGROWING. ALL THE FARMERS AFFILIATED WITH NORDJYSK NATURKØD ARE RECOMMENDED/ENDORSED BY ANIMAL PROTECTION DENMARK.
100% DANISH welfare CHICKEN ONLY
Our chicken is carefully selected from de danske familiegårde. this means that the chickens have more space and live a more calm and quiet life than conventional chickens. the chickens are welfare chickens and they always have access to food and water. because of this, the chickens don’t need antibiotics.
oUR JAGGER FRIED CHICKEN AND CHICKEN NUGGETS ARE BREADED BY US DAILY, SO THEY ALWAYS HAVE THE RIGHT JAGGER CRISPYNESS WHEN SERVED TO OUR GUESTS.
OUR VERY OWN FOOD PREP & BUN FACTORY
IN THE DANISH CITY OF SØNDERBORG, JAGGER HAS ITS OWN BUN & FOOD PREP PRODUCTION FACILITY, WHERE JAKOB OUBÆK IS IN CHARGE OF THE DAILY OPERATIONS. HERE WE BAKE OUR BURGER BUNS AND HOTDOG BUNS, WHICH ARE ALWAYS HOMEMADE AND BAKED USING OUR OWN SPECIAL BLEND OF MANITOBA FLOUR. BEFORE THE FIRST JAGGER OPENEDED (SPRING, 2016), OUR brioche BUNS AND HOTDOG BUNS WERE TESTED UNTIL THE RIGHT RECIPE WAS PERFECTLY REFINED AND FORMULATED. THE PORK USED IN OUR PULLED PORK BURGER IS ALSO PREPARED AND SPECIALLY SPICED. BRAISED AND SMOKED IN SØNDERBORG. THE JAGGER PULLED PORK IS MADE OF DANISH PORK CHUCK, WHICH IS BRAISED AND SMOKED FOR APPROX. 14 HOURS IN OUR OVENS IN SØNDERBORG.
